Ciao, I'm sara

Yes, I’m Sara first of all: a chatterbox, to whom Nature has taught the great power of silence.

So I listen to you, I’m here for you.

Tell me: who are you? What are you looking for? Maybe a great Tuscan experience? Just curiosity?

Ok, I’ll break the scree, but then it’s your turn!

Maybe you are wondering what I am doing lying on the ground in the photo below?
Simple! I’m blending in, I was playing hide and seek. The little girl in me always accompanies me, it is good to say it right away maybe …

I WALK, SO I AM ... Is that what they used to say, right?

I live in Chianti.

I have been working as a nature guide since 2003.

Honestly in 2009 I also got the tourist guide license, but nature always appeals me stronger than any other beauty.

I carry in my heart my degree in cultural anthropology, sharecropping, my beautiful and harsh Chianti, the old people who can tell me if the sky is bringing rain or snow.

Reading the landscape is my passion: knowing how to read people’s stories and the traces of time between the folds of the earth opens up a world that is very different from the one that normally unfolds before our eyes.

I had the privilege of living in France for a year, of guiding many French-speaking walkers at the beginning of my career and English-speaking ones from 2008 to today. The satisfaction of speaking and understanding (it always seems incredible to me!) English and French gives me sincere joy and pride.

I like being in company, a lot.

I like being alone, just as much.

My thoughtful lightness has saved me on many occasions.

I firmly believe in happiness. But not at all costs.

I hate hatred, in all its forms.

I am not a housewife. Definitely no. But sometimes yes. I love the warmth of the winter hearth, the house that welcomes in the evening, a meal made with love.

I am always on the road (“in cammino”, in Italian, so my nickname), whenever I can.

I just can’t do without cheese, telling the story of the cypresses, heart-to-heart hugs, talking in Tuscan and joking.

For sure most of the things I love wouldn’t exist without you.
